I didn't find any that should have been on the final list, and were not, because of failing to meet all three criteria. <br /><br />The process doesn't seem to be as political as it was somewhat arbitrary, since the desire was to take more dramatic action on schools that are the worst performers and the process failed to do that. In 2006 our API w...You brought up many good points. In 2006 our API was 620. In 2007 it rose to 639, and in 2008 it jumped to 682. After three years of double-digit increases, we had a mere 6 point drop to 676 in 2009. After being praised for three years of significant increases, we are suddenly "failures."
