Our homes are vulnerable to petty theft and we are convinced the perpetrators are neighborhood youths. Tagging is common (love the comment about who is doing it!) but we never let it stay a minute after discovery.<BR/><BR/>But to put perspective on SP's issues, I came from a much more upscale neighborhood in Los Feliz and they had their share of burglary and car theft as well. <BR/><BR/>One thing that makes me happy is you do see in my neighborhood is kids outside playing like they used to when we were young. Neighborhood involvement is key, and stepping outside one's comfort zone (north of Gaffey take note) to get involved in city programs for kids will go a long way to help. We've become too isolated in our homes - we need to reconnect with the larger community in personal ways!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
